Alzheimer’s Research UK
UCL Drug Discovery Institute
Welcome to the Alzheimer's Research UK UCL Drug Discovery Institute
As a core member of the Alzheimer’s Research UK Drug Discovery Alliance, the UCL Drug Discovery Institute couples deep disease biology and expertise of the academic community with high quality, industry-standard drug discovery capabilities and technologies to accelerate translation of emerging ideas into new medicines for waiting patients.
Housed within the Cruciform Building, in the heart of UCL’s Bloomsbury Campus, the Institute capitalises on the wealth of disease expertise at the Queens Square Institute of Biology, the Headquarters of the UK Dementia Research Institute and a broad network of UK-wide and global collaborators to generate industry standard drug-discovery packages and lead molecules for well-validated drug targets ready to progress towards clinical development.
